“I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic in 2011. Majoring in Communication and Media Management, I’ve always had an interest in News. So when I knew of an opening in Channel NewsAsia, I decided to apply. As a fresh poly graduate, I was very excited to be given the opportunity to start my media career journey in Mediacorp. As the leading media company in Singapore, I was also thrilled with the opportunities and possibilities that Mediacorp can provide.

Presently in the Editorial (Production Services) team for 3.5 years, I feel that the exposure has been invaluable. I am interacting with and learning from seniors who have been in the industry for a long time and concurrently gaining important work-life experience. To date, I have covered major breaking news events such as the plane crashes over the past year and had the opportunity to work on special projects such as Berita Outdoor News and the various election shows.”
